ENO lists a 40°F–60°F range. Treat that as manufacturer guidance—not a guaranteed comfort temperature or proof that the quilt is appropriate for every night at 40°F.

ENO and retailers describe the range in conjunction with comparable top insulation. A top quilt or sleeping bag is still required above the sleeper.

• The treated shell can help with wind and light moisture, but the Ember is not a waterproof shelter. Use a properly pitched tarp and protect the quilt during transport and storage.
